Como Una Cabra is a Spanish association that was born with a triple objective: Generate wealth and decent work in rural areas; – Promote equal opportunities between men and women and access to technologies; – Promote more sustainable environments by promoting business models that respect the environment and people. To do this, Como Una Cabra supports women, who seek to increase their education levels and set up a business in rural areas, through training (triple balance business school) and mentoring services. We also participate in local development projects to revitalize rural areas.

We are Jorge and Annelleen, a Spanish/Belgian couple who met each other on a wwoofing trip around Europe in 2010. We shared the same view on living a simple and sustainable life and the same dream of having a little farm where we can put it into practice. Now we’re having a family together (2 children), and finally also our own project: Ecos del Lozoya – located in the finca El Puente del Molino in the Valle del Lozoya, a mountain area north of Madrid (1.200m).
Our farm is 2 hectareas big, and we’re mostly growing berries: raspberries, blueberries, Lonicera caerulea strawberries, tayberry, gooseberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants… We sell them to organic shops, restaurants, but the most important part of our project is agrotourism: in summer people can visit our farm to pick berries themselves. We have also a big vegetable garden in summer. We make different activities for schools and Enterprise (Team building…etc..) as well

In search of the co-creation of a new economy at the service of people and the planet…. eating is an agricultural act.

Precious Plastic Cyprus is an open-source project that provides tools and guidance on creating local, small-scale recycling shop for the processing and manufacturing of new products from recycled plastic. Precious Plastic exists to reduce plastic waste. Sometimes we do it through boosting recycling. Sometimes through new biodegradable materials. Some other time by adopting zero waste lifestyles.

We focus on creating alternative solutions by  repurposing local plastic waste.

I am a carpenter, or better experienced interior designer with more than 25 years of experience in wood production. In recent years I got deeply engaged in the work of designing and equipping the interior in equipping shops, restaurants, hunting lodges and smaller overnight accommodation facilities. I am a great lover of nature, environment, and working with youth. My expertise and knowledge of local craftsmen will be a major help and contribution to the youth activities.

I am a co-founder of the Zavod Podgradom. The purpose of Podgradom Institute is essentially to contribute in implementing and strengthening the development of local eco-heritage tourism in the natural environment with the close involvement of local crafts makers, heritage promoters, vendors of local products and natural-historical tourism companies. My background is wood technology and I have knowledge in wood design, wood construction and technical drawings. In the past years I was responsible for organising workshops on wood production and lectures for young people who would like to learn more about wood material and wood technologies.
